Power Goes Out for 4,500 But is Restored

A falling tree limb temporarily caused new power outages in Altadena Friday morning.

A falling tree limb shorted out power for 4,496 customers shortly after 8 a.m. on Friday morning, but as of 11 a.m. only 29 people are still without power, according to Vanessa McGrady of Southern California Edison.

Many people who lost power regained it pretty quickly, according to McGrady, and power was restored to everyone but those 29 people by 8:41 a.m.
