Cooper and Kenne Win Seats, Seat 6 to Go to Run-Off
Tuesday's nights preliminary appear to show Kenne, Cooper victory, while the final race will be completed in April.
11:58 p.m. The final tally is in for the night and it appears to show a victory for incumbent Renatta Cooper and challenger Kim Kenne. Incumbent Tom Selinske garnered about 47 percent of the vote compared to about 35 percent for his closest competitor. That is not enough to prevent a run-off election that will take place next month.
The vote count is not final until it has been certified by the Pasadena City Clerk.

10:39 p.m: Altadena resident and Sierra Madre teacher Cushon Bell sounded like she is not discouraged by the low returns on her .
"I said I was going to set out to do something and I did it," Bell said with a smile in an interview at the Pasadena Convention Center.
Asked if that means she plans to run again, she said: "It could mean that."
10:28 p.m: Incumbent Tom Selinske reaction to the results, which have him leading his challenger, but not with a majority: "Obviously I'd hoped to be in a stronger position at this point. It's going to be very close. Mathematically, I'm not sure we're going to be able to avoid a runoff."
10:10 p.m: We've added some results from a couple of Altadena precincts, but they are small vote totals, so no claims they are representative of how the whole community voted. The two precincts show higher levels of support for Altadena resident Gene Stevenson than the precinct totals show.
