Wednesday Street Light Meeting Canceled

A Wednesday meeting on the county's plans to replace street lights in south central and southeast Altadena has been canceled

A Wednesday meeting on the county's plans to replace street lights in southeast Altadena has been canceled because of the continued power outages and wind storm damage, according to Arnel Dulay of the County Public Works Department.

The county's plans are to replace vintage green steel street lamps in the areas, but planners have said they want to try to preserve the look of the original lamps as much as possible

The meeting had been planned for 7 p.m. at the on Wednesday.

The work is planned the following streets: Layton, Meadowbrook, Allen, New York, and Sinaloa, New York, Midlothian, Minoru, Elizabeth, Oxford and Dominion.
