What The County Plans to Plant on Woodbury Road (Photo Gallery)
The county has plans to re-landscape Woodbury Road this summer between Santa Anita Avenue and Windsor Avenue. Here are the plants they are planning to put in the medians, as well as a more detailed plan.
The county is planning a median improvement and landscaping project on Woodbury Road between Santa Anita Avenue and Windsor Avenue.
In addition to shriking the width of the median and adding bike lanes (part of the county's master bike plan) the Department of Public Works will also be adding landscaping to the median. The above plants are on their list of proposed potential species to use.
The project is planned to start late summer of 2012 and take five months. Construction hours will be 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and there will be points where traffic will be restricted to single lanes.
