Altadena Elementary School Educator Named 'Teacher of Excellence'

Five teachers in the Pasadena Unified School District were honored and given a cash prize.

Five Pasadena Unified School District teachers were named Teachers of Excellence by Pasadena Rotary this week, the PUSD announced.

Rotary gave $1500 to each honored teacher and $500 to each respective school.

The winning teachers are: Regina Major, Altadena Elementary School; Christine A. McLaughlin, Blair High School; Ella Farinas, Cleveland Elementary School; Richard Eric Mulfinger, Marshall Fundamental Secondary School; and Dany Richey, Sierra Madre Elementary School.
