The Pasadena Unified School District and Eliot Middle School will offer a free seminar on bullying prevention on Wednesday, Jan. 29.

The seminar will offer insight on how to identify bullying at school and in cyberspace, as well as the responsibilities of digital censorship and ways to address and prevent bullying.

Featured at the seminar will be Tracy Webb, senior trial attorney and director of cybercrime prevention and child protection for the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office. Webb will teach parents strategies on safe and responsible digital citizenship, district officials said in a written statement.

The seminar starts at 6:30 p.m. at Eliot Middle School Library, 2184 North Lake Avenue in Altadena.

Songs can help young children learn about kindness and tolerance. The song “Be a Buddy, not a Bully” can be heard on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Or7WPUtUnRo

I hope schools take great actions in resolving so many bullying issues left unheard. I am a parent and I'm worried and I don't want that any kid to experience bullying. As a way of helping everyone especially the parents, who still find it quite hard to manage issues like this, I found this great application which featured a safety app which gets me connected to a Safety Network or escalate my call to the nearest 911 when needed, it has other cool features that are helpful for your kids with just a press of a Panic Button. Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities! Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers you cannot be successful or happy.Don't fear failure so much that you refuse to try new things. The sad summary of a life contains three descriptions: could have, might have, and should have and kids who witness bullying feel powerless and seldom intervene. However, kids who take action can have a powerful and positive effect on the situation.Forgiveness is the cleansing fire that burns away old regrets and resentments. No one deserves to feel worthless . Keep safe and be alert always no one deserve to be judge check this out at http://safekidzone.com/#!/page_home.
