High School Exit Exam Results Released: How Did PUSD Do?

District-wide, PUSD students did just slightly better on average than L.A. County as a whole, and just slightly worse than the state as a whole

Today’s released California High School Exit Exam results show that the is near the achievement level of the state and county.

District-wide, about 82 percent of 10th-grade students passed the test, better than the county rate of 81 percent, but less than the statewide average of 83 percent.

Below are the results broken down by category in the four highly-attended public schools in the district.  The results are the percent of  10th-grade students who passed the test - they are taking the CAHSEE for the first time - those who do not pass can take it again in 11th and 12th grade.
