John Muir High School Athlete Commits to Playing Collegiate Football

Local athlete Addison Farmer will play college football after earning accolades playing football at John Muir High School.

John Muir High School student and athlete Addison Farmer is continuing his football success by committing to play football at Adams State University in Alamosa, Colorado.

Farmer’s decision to play for the Grizzly Bears at the four-year public school comes after he was named 1st Team All-Conference his senior year, even after an extensive rotator cuff surgery, NCSA Athletic Recruiting shared.

He also earned a spot on the high school’s varsity football team his sophomore, junior and senior years.

On his NCSA Athletic Recruiting page, Farmer shares that his most important accomplishments are, “being an active Christian youth, a captain all three years of playing high school football [and] winning the o-linemen of the year award [his] freshmen, junior, and senior year.

Off the field, Farmer is interested in pursuing kinesiology and broadcast journalism in college.

Farmer, 6 feet and 280 pounds, received help achieving his dream of playing college football from NCSA Athletic Recruiting, a network that connects student athletes with college coaches throughout the United States.
