The Pasadena Unified School District opens its late application period for open enrollment tomorrow at 8 a.m. It will run weekdays until April 17 from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
Parents or legal guardians must deliver their applications in person at the District Office, 351 S Hudson Ave. in Pasadena. Entry will be allowed at the Del Mar Street entrance. Applications must be completed in the office.
There are still a limited number of slots left for native speakers in the Mandarin Chinese immersion program at Field Elementary School and for the Spanish immersion programs at San Rafael Elementary School.
There also may be spots for some College and Career Pathways programs in Engineering, Arts and Media, Health, Hospitality, Information Technology and more at Blair, Muir, Marshall and Pasadena High School.
Students from kindergarten through 11th grade are eligible to apply, and can choose up to two schools per application.
Late applications are not guaranteed a spot; they are added to the end of any existing wait-lists. If a student does not get into the school they applied for, they must enroll in their school of residence.
PUSD will notify students of acceptances via phone up until Friday, May 4.
