The Pasadena Educational Foundation announced Wednesday it will get a $300,000 grant from AT&T for their work with preparing Pasadena Unified students for college.
The foundation's Pasadena Unified School District's College and Career Pathways, which works with students to decrease the high school drop out rate and to "produce graduates prepared to meet our local workforce needs in key industry sectors," according to the foundation website.
Pasadena Educational Foundation is one of 47 recipients nationwide that will share in nearly $10 million from AT&T, according to a company press release.
The foundation is a private organization that raises funds to support the Pasadena Unified School District, which covers the cities of Pasadena, Altadena and Sierra Madre.
