PCC Football Prepares for Opener

Pasadena City College recently opened up football practice this season and began preparing for the Sept. 7 opener against Citrus, andaccording to the Pasadena Star-News preview, the Lancers' focus will be in the trenches.

A return to basics for a growing offensive line should help them provide more punch on the ground, according to what coaches and players told the Star-News. Running the ball effectively will help cushion the fact that there's a lack of experience at other skill positions.
