PUSD Seeks School Board Applicants

The board will make an appointment for the vacant seat in June.

The Pasadena Unified School District is seeking applicants to fill a vacant seat on the school board, according to a story in the Pasadena Sun.

The seat will be left vacant next month by Kim Kenne after Kenne assumes a different position she won in the March 5 election.

Board members voted Tuesday to make an appointment rather than hold a special election in November, saving the cash-strapped school district $500,000 to $700,00.
