Celebrity Basketball Game to Take Place at Muir

Mustangs Justin Knowles, Ahsia Owens and Deshawn Hayes will play alongside Muir faculty in game vs. Power 106.

The Muir boys and girls basketball programs are sponsoring a celebrity basketball game Thursday night that will pit the Muir faculty, staff and a few senior players against radio station Power 106.

Justin Knowles and Ahsia Owens will both take the court for the Mustangs, and they will be joined by Deshawn Hayes. Knowles was an honorable mention on the All-Pacific League team, averaging 6.1 points and 3.8 assists for Muir. Owens was a first-team All-Pacific League selection and averaged 12.8 points and 5.2 rebounds per game.

This will be Hayes' first game of any kind with the Mustangs since he was kicked off the boys team midseason for violating team rules.
