Muir Junior Addison Farmer Talks Role on Revamped O-Line (video)

Farmer is expected to start at center for the Mustangs this fall.

Muir should be one of the greenest teams in the area this season -- featuring only eight returners from last year's squad that reached the second round of the CIF-Southern Section Southeast Division playoffs.

The Mustangs lack of experience is most evident along the line of scrimmage where coach Ken Howard will be breaking in five new starters on the O-line, the majority of whom will see their first varsity action once the season starts.

One of those new starters is rising junior Addison Farmer, who is expected to start at center for the Mustangs this fall. Muir coach Ken Howard said the Farmer has been one of the standouts of the summer.

Much his fellow junior Denzel Talifero, whom we featured Monday, Farmer doesn't lack in the confidence department. Here's just a taste how highly Farmer views the 2011 Mustangs: He said he expects Washington to be one of the top quarterbacks in the Pacific League this year.

Keep in mind the Pacific League boasts Arcadia's Myles Carr, who will be suiting up for a FBS program in 2012.
