Nip & Tuck: County to Fund Facelift for Lincoln
The county has approved an allocation of $320,000 in Economic Development funds for the Lincoln Avenue Commercial Business Revitalization project.
The project provides funding to property owners for improvements, including new exterior paint, signage, glass and anti-graffiti film, awnings, doors and light fixtures. Asbestos and lead testing and abatement is also included as an additional service, at no cost to the property owner.
Using labor, sub-contracting and vending from within the local area, the Alta/Pasa Community Improvement Center will implement the project and be responsible for marketing, outreach, and coordination with property owners and tenants, coordination of design and construction activities, and obtaining and paying for all necessary permits and fees.
