This Week in Altadena: Workshop to Discuss Common Core Standards’ Impact on Special Education Students
1. The Altadena Town Council will meet Tuesday, Sept. 17 at the Altadena Community Center, 730 E. Altadena Dr.

3. The Special Education Department Community Advisory Committee will host a workshop on how Common Core Standards will affect special education students, Monday, Sept. 16 at 8:30 p.m. at the Elbie J. Hickambottom Board Room, PUSD Education Center Room #236, 351 S. Hudson Ave., Pasadena.

4. The Arroyo Food Co-op is planning a Yard Sale Extravaganza at 494 N. Wilson Ave., Pasadena, Saturday, Sept. 21 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Early bird entry is 7 p.m. with a $5 suggested donation.
