5 Things You Need to Know: Alec Baldwin and Danny's Farm, Food Trucks at the Rose Bowl

1) Danny's Farm, which had its in January, is preparing for a Spring BBQ fundraiser that will be hosted by Alec Baldwin, who is well known for his work with autism causes.  The fundraiser will be in May.  To get an invite, email dannysfarm@yahoo.com and put "BBQ invitation" in the subject line.

2) Hope for dry and warm weather for Friday because there is a from 1:30 to 8 p.m. at Farnsworth Park.  Casablanca, the recent version of The Sorcerer's Apprentice and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse will all be screened.

3) The , a guided walking tour to the ecology and history of the Hahamongna Watershed Park, has been rescheduled for Saturday, March 5.  The Walkabout was canceled last weekend after rain was forecast for Saturday morning (although it ended up staying dry through the morning). 

4) Food truck lovers will be glad to know that there is another event in the surrounding area this weekend featuring mobile food options.   The at the Rose Bowl this Sunday will feature an array of food truck options.  The downside?  If you want to get into the feeding area without paying the $5 entry fee you have to run a 5k or 10k race, which is actually the main feature of the event.  Of course, running the race also comes with an entry fee cost.....

5) If you want to vote in the upcoming school board elections on March 8 today is the deadline to register.  Those interested should vist lavote.net.
