62 Vote in Town Council Election on Tuesday

The "pre-voting" event was just the first day of voting- the main event is Saturday.

On Tuesday 62 residents came out to vote in the Altadena Town Council election, 43 of them for the 4610 census tract seat, according to Town Council election chair Eric Pierce.

The 4610 seat is the southwest tract in Altadena, bounded by Woodbury, Fair Oaks, Ventura, and the town border on the west side.  The race .

Results from the race will be available Saturday when the ballots are counted, Pierce said.  Until Saturday, the ballot box will be at the .

On Saturday the voting will be available at five locations (Charles White Park, Farnsworth Park, Gordy's, Webster's, and S & J Auto) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Interested voters can read more about candidates and locate which census tract they live in .

Below are the total voter turnout in each race.  The two contested races, 4602 and 4610 unsurprisingly had the most voter participation.
