Altadena Relay for Life Announces 2013 Theme

The theme was announced at Friday’s kick-off event at Farnsworth Park. Are you participating in Altadena Relay for Life 2013?

The Altadena Relay for Life held the kick-off Friday for their 2013 event and unveiled its theme: Carnival.

Event Chair Heather Morrow shared that organizers would like each team to have a fun carnival game booth at this year’s American Cancer Society event, which benefits cancer research.

The 2013 Altadena Relay for Life will be held at Farnsworth Park Jun 1 at 9 a.m. and is in need of volunteers for the following positions:

Survivor Chair
Caregiver Chair
Sponsorship Chair
Food Chair
Publicity Chair

Plus there's very little up-to-date news, the articles are old, and I can't be bothered to search through the blogs and boards, interesting though they may be. Thank goodness Altadenblog is still there. It's now my go-to site for current Altadena news.
