Chain Control Required for Areas of Angeles National Forest

Los Angeles County Department of Public Works announced several road closures early Thursday. Chains are required due to snow.

Expect delays and limited access if you travel through Angeles National Forest Thursday. 

Drivers are required to have chain control in snow areas at 5,000 feet and above, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works

  • Big Pines Highway, Largo Vista Road to Angeles Crest Highway
  • Table Mountain Road, Angeles Crest Highway to one mile north of Angeles Crest Highway
