Dedication Ceremony To Take Place For Bench Donated To Altadena Crest Trail

Ceremony to take place Dec. 14.

Two local merchants have donated a bench to the Altadena Crest Trail, with a dedication ceremony taking place this Saturday.

The bench, donated by Kwang-Hee Park and Jochen Strack, owners of Spring Acupuncture and Spiritual Direction, will be wrapped in a giant, red bow and be accompanied by a zorse ( a zebra horse), which will bring with it supplies for the ceremony, according to Pasadena Now.

The event is set to begin at 10 a.m. near the bench, about a 15-minute walk from the trail head to Altadena Crest Trail, at Lake Avenue and Loma Alta.

Representatives from the U.S. Forestry Service and the Altadena Crest Trail Restoration Working Group will also be present.
