A Small Guide to Hanukkah Events Nearby

With Hanukkah starting this weekend, we've gathered a few candle-lighting events around the San Gabriel Valley.

The Festival of Lights starts on Saturday and the candle-lighting for Shabbat is Friday before sunset, so we've gathered a few Hanukkah events in the San Gabriel Valley for you and yours.

If you'd rather opt to host your own event, the following are approximate times for Shabbat candle lighting, which should be done 18 minutes before sunset, according to Chabad of Pasadena. If you miss your time, you can still light your candles up until sunset, but not after.

Lighting Times

Light Candles at 4:25 p.m. on Friday
Shabbat ends at 5:24 p.m. on Saturday
