The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped two-tenths of a cent today to $3.697 after being unchanged each of the past two days.
The average price is 1.6 cents more than one week ago, 5.7 cents higher than one month ago and 3.7 cents greater than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The Orange County average price dropped three-tenths of a cent today to $3.679, the second consecutive decrease after rising 15 consecutive days. It is 1 cent more than one week ago, 6.3 cents higher than one month ago and 3.5 cents greater than one year ago.
