Updated: Wind Power Outages Affect Hundreds of Altadenans

Many Altadena residents lost power Monday afternoon due to wind. Have you been affected by the windy weather?

Update (9:25 p.m.): Southern California Edison notes 405 Altadena residents still without power, according to its outage map. A total of 1,570 customers were without power in the Southern California Edison service area as of 9 p.m., said Edison's Lois Pitter Bruce to City News Service.

In Altadena, 1,400 Southern California Edison customers were without power as of about 3 p.m. Monday, City News Service reported. In total, about 9,630 customers across SCE’s entire service area were without power by that time, according to CNS.

As of 4:54 p.m. Monday, SCE’s outage site noted 607 Altadena customers without power due to the weather and estimated most of those customers’ power to be restored by Tuesday between 2:22 and 2:25 p.m.
