The first Food Truck Festival at Webster's in Altadena was a huge success, according to the food lovers in attendance.
The first-ever Altadena event was held Friday night, with four food trucks setting up behind Webster's Community Pharmacy and Webster's Fine Stationers.
From all appearances it was a successful event: It was well-attended, people sat at tables socializing and the food trucks did start to sell out of some of their menu items.
By 8 p.m., at the Shrimp Pimp food truck, a couple was handed an "End of the Line" sign because the truck managers were apparently concerned they would run out of food.

Greenz on Wheelz ran out of steak, and No Reservations sold out of garlic fries and some of their other sides.
That's all good news: The organizers have said that if the event becomes a big draw, more food trucks could come to the event next month. Let's hope it happens!
