RIPE Altadena welcomes noted herbalist from the Bay Area, Charles "Doc" Garcia. He is a third-generation curandero and street medic who has served the poor, homeless, and AIDS populations in his hometown for years.
According to RIPE, “If you can make a fire, get a pot of water simmering, find herbs in your back yard, your neighbor’s lawn, a city park…Doc Garcia believes you can aid the sick.”
