The Sheriff's Support Group of Altadena has announced the performers for the free Saturday concerts at .
The concerts start at 7 p.m. each Saturday from July 9 to September 10, with a break on Labor Day Weekend. This is the 15th annual year the concerts have run.
This year craft beer and a selection of wines will be available at the concerts, according to Robert Klomburg of the SSG. The Rotary Club of Altadena has received authorization from the County Parks and Recreation Department to serve the beer and wine as long as it is consumed in the ampitheater where the concerts are held.
Box dinners will be available from again this year, and for the first time, will also be selling box dinners to eat at the concert.

This year’s season kicks off on July 9th with the Irish Volunteers and the Irish Pride Dancers who will perform music and dance from the Public Houses of Ireland. The July 16th concert will be featuring the Downbeat Express, Altadena’s Big Band, along with the vocal talents of Jennifer Gates and high note trumpet artist Paul Cacia.
On July 23rd Altadena will have its very own Jazz guitarist Brian Hughes with The Brian Hughes Quintet who will simply dazzle you, performing music from his brand new CD "Fast Train To A Quiet Place". On July 30th back for their second appearance are the crowd pleaser Upstream featuring Caribbean music and so much more.
On August 6th the Blue Breeze Band will entertain with Motown, Blues, R & B and Soul. Dancing shoes would be a great idea! On August 13th Lisa Haley & the Zydekats will be in the amphitheater with high energy Zydeco music. Bring your dancing shoes again. On August 20th Classic Rock ‘N Roll will be performed by The Mixx, get ready to Rock ‘N Roll and be sure your dancing shoes are still available. On August 27th the sounds of Western music will fill the amphitheater with The Tumbling Tumbleweeds. Keep those dancing shoes at the ready.
The 2011 Summer Concert Series concludes on September 10th with a tribute to the Beach Boys performed exquisitely by the tribute band The Beach Toys. Dancing shoes are now required.
