Car Fire Erupts on 210 Freeway

A car fire was reported Monday morning on the 210 westbound freeway at Osborne Street near Altadena.

California Highway Patrol and the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded Monday to a report of a car on fire on the right shoulder of the 210 freeway westbound at Osborne Street.

The car fire was reported at 11:27 a.m. and a tow truck was requested for the charred silver Acura involved, CHP Officer Monica Posada told Patch.

No traffic lanes are closed as a result of the incident.

An ambulance has not been requested, but Posada said that does not necessarily mean no injuries occurred.
