Tickets Still Available for Great Romantic Comedy This Sun., Oct 21 2pm ($10) & 5:30pm ($20--includes wine & cheese reception with the actors)
Yes, you still have time to get your tickets for some really fun live entertainment at less than the cost to see most movies! Besides watching professional actors in a hilarious production, you will also help a good cause. And you won’t have to drive far either because a staged reading of the romantic comedy Later Life by A. R. Gurney is coming this Sunday, October 21 at 2 and 5:30 pm to the Altadena Library.
The Moveable Theatre Company by Special Arrangement with Dramatists Play, Service, Inc. is producing a staged reading of the play to benefit the Friends of the Altadena Library. John Balma and Debra Lee, whom many may recognize from their many appearances in film and television, star in this production.
David Berkus, associate of The Moveable Theatre Company, who has had privy to recent rehearsals, has this to say: “The comic actors add so much to the humor of the play. The lines are hysterical the way these professional actors interpret them. I know your ticket buyers will be very entertained.”
