Five Acres' Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive

Five Acres is working to ensure that more than 200 families in need can sit down and share in a special Thanksgiving meal with their children.

As part of Five Acres’ annual Thanksgiving food drive, the nonprofit organization seeks community support in collecting food to help feed over 200 area families in need. Five Acres seeks nonperishable items, frozen turkeys and grocery store gift certificates in order to deliver complete food baskets to the families they serve across six Southern California counties.

WHAT: Annual Thanksgiving food drive to collect food donations for Thanksgiving baskets to be distributed to area families in need.

WHO: Food baskets will be provided to children and their families who receive treatment and education at Five Acres’ community-based and residential programs.

Five Acres is working to ensure that children who have been abused or neglected find safe family homes where they receive the care they need.

WHEN: Food items and financial contributions are welcome daily at Five Acres' Offices, from 9 am to 5 pm, now through Monday, November 21st.
