Snowy San Gabriels (Photos)

Reader and wildlife activist Lori Paul sent in the following photos of rare San Gabriel Mountain snow vistas from the Chaney Trail area--plus we add some shots from Echo Mountain.

The lower San Gabriels only get snow  a couple of times per winter, if that, so it's always a great time to take photos if you have them.

Reader Lori Paul sent in the first two above, and we added the second two, showing a light dusting up at Inspiration Point, and some rock fall on the trail on the way up.

Readers from last year might recall we had some similar snow vistas on a couple of occasions:

If you've got any good snow shots from today, please go ahead and add them to the gallery--hit 'upload your photo' when signed in as a Patch user and you can do it quickly and easily.
