In order to get the community to visit our newly reconstructed website we have a project that requires your participation. Altadena has never had its own Community flag. So far the Flag Committee has come up with eleven different designs for consideration.
The community may view each of them on our website and cast their vote (see this on the subject). The one that gets the most votes will become our first Community Flag. The deadline for casting your vote will be Saturday evening, November 18th at midnight. This will allow the entire community that wishes to cast a vote to participate once the word gets around.
While at the website please review all the tabs and find important information regarding the Town Council, including the current Officers and Members along with their contact information, our eight different census tracts along with the current census tract representatives; the various committees where volunteers may serve the community, the current meeting agenda available for download, a brief history of Altadena, and our past meeting minutes and By-Laws.
Other features include a community calendar, a blog or comment system where you may express your views and opinions, or just a resource to learn how you may get more involved in the Altadena community.
