People have flocked to a famous lane of trees and a decked-out house again this year to see Christmas light spectaculars in Altadena.
Altadenans don’t need to leave their own community to see brilliant Christmas light displays.
Christmas Tree Lane’s tall trees of colorful lights made their appearance on Santa Rosa Avenue for the 92nd time this year.

And the Balian house, owned by the Balian ice cream family, has become a must-see for locals and others to the point that people sell light-up toys and other items on the sidewalk to awed onlookers.

If you’ve been there you know no video or photos could ever truly do it justice, however, and if you you’ve never been there then get going while you still can! The decked-out house is at 1960 Mendocino Lane off Allen Road. Make sure to bundle up because you’ll want to get out and walk around to get a full view of all the decorations.
