Christmas Tree Lane 2012 Lights Up (Video)

An excited crowd counted down to Altadena's Christmas Tree Lane lighting Saturday night, led by Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael Antonovich.

The most anticipated moment of the year for many Altadenans went off without a hitch Saturday night as many gathered to view the 92nd Christmas Tree Lane, made possible by many volunteers and the Christmas Tree Lane Association.

Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael Antonovich led the lighting countdown, which took place after performances by local musical groups and choirs and after a day at the Winter Arts and Crafts Festival.

Performances included:

  • Blair JROTC Color Guard
  • The Blair IB Singers
  • Local musicians Daniel Landau and Smithfield Bargain
  • John Muir Alumni Drum Corps, who led the crowd down the Lane

What do you think of this year's Christmas Tree Lane?

IMHO, the highlight was the procession down the hill led by the John Muir Drum Corps. Those guys ROCK!
