Altadena Neighborhood Coalition to Meet March 27

A proposed earthquake drill and noisy neighbors are the two topics to be announced so far for the March 27 meeting of the Altadena Coalition of Neighborhood Associations.

The Altadena Coalition of Neighborhood Associations has announced the topics to be discussed at its March 27 meeting.

The group will discuss plans for a possible "shake-out" earthquake drill, an idea .  That discussion will be led by a neighborhood block captain, Steve Regan, who also led the discussion in February.

The second agenda item is on loud neighbors and county law: the discussion will be led by an official from the Los Angeles County Environmental Health office.

The meeting will be on March 27 at the Altadena Library from 7 p.m. to 8:30.

The full message below comes from ACONA's main organizer, Elliot Gold, who noted the meeting is likely to have a third topic added:

ACONA [Altadena Coalition of Neighborhood Association] Folks:

I always tell you "the next ACONA meeting is going to ROCK!".... well we're going to"shake" but not "shout".

Why?

1. Shake- We're going to have Steve Reagan there talking to us about a proposed Neighborhood Association "Shake Out".... a test of how our blocks, own neighborhoods are ready for an emergency.

AND

2. Shhhhh- We're going to have an exert from L.A. County Environmental Health to answer our questions about "LOUD NEIGHBORS!"

AND
3. We expect a third speaker, who I will announce in a week or so.

Maybe we'll call this one "Shhhhh, and Shake!"

ACONA Meeting
Tuesday Night March 27
7:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Altadena Library Conference Room [Santa Rosa and Mariposa]
