Altadena Crime Blotter: Burglaries, Assault With Deadly Weapon
The Altadena Sheriff's Station provided the following incident information. Arrests do not indicate conviction.
Sunday, June16th
11:00 AM – A Theft from an unlocked vehicle was reported in the 1000 block of Mount Curve Avenue. Loss: Wallet, flashlight, knife.
5:37 PM – An assault occurred in the 200-blk of W. Harriet St. Suspects described as (6) male, Hispanics, 18-25 years, driving a gray SUV; possibly Ford Expedition. Suspect vehicle last seen eastbound on Harriet St.
Wednesday, June 19th
Between 12:00 AM and 9:00 AM – A vehicle vandalism occurred in the 1300-blk of Terra Alta Av. Pasadena. The vehicle’s paint was intentionally scratched (“keyed”).
2:30 PM – Suspect Aubrey Franklin (male/24 years old/Altadena) was arrested in the 2200 block of Casitas Avenue for felon in possession of a firearm and parole violation after detectives conducted a parole check of his residence.
Thursday, June 20th
Between 12:00 AM and 1:00 AM – A petty theft occurred at Brake Masters, 2095 N. Lake Av. Loss: (1) gallon of gas.
10:00 AM – A petty theft occurred in the 800-blk of E. Sacramento St. Loss: metal gate, sliding door, window screens.
12:00 PM – Altadena Detectives authored a search warrant and subsequently arrested Suspect Flanigan Walker (male/31 years old/Los Angeles) for Burglary and Identity Theft after property stolen in a local burglary was linked to him.
9:55 PM – Suspect Eduardo Garcia (male/37 years old) was arrested at Crosby/Olive Ave. for being under the influence of drugs. Deputies contacted him after observing him walking in the middle of the street westbound on Crosby St.
Friday, June 21st
8:26 PM – Suspect Steve Lee (32 years old), of Altadena, was arrested in the 2800 block of Lincoln Avenue for trespassing inside the victim’s residence.
Between 12:00 PM and 1:15 PM – Two vehicle burglaries occurred at 24Hr. Fitness, 2180 Lincoln Ave. Loss: iPhone, wallet, credit cards, and misc. currency.
3:30 PM – A suspect (male/45 years old) was arrested in the 800 block of Alameda St. for possession of methamphetamine after deputies contacted him on a traffic stop.
8:35 PM – Suspect Casey Rice (male/40 years old) was arrested in the 200 block of Ventura St. for domestic violence.
Saturday, June 22th
6:45 AM – An assault with a deadly weapon occurred in the area of east Mariposa St & Fair Oaks Av. Suspect(s) described as: #1 male, Black, 19 yrs, 507, 160, shaved head, brown eyes – suspect #2 male, Black, 30 yrs, 200, black hair, brown eyes approached the victim and punched him several times, causing a fractured nose. Suspects are unknown.

Between June 16th and June 22th there were 25 runaway juveniles reported to the Altadena Sheriff Station.
