Altadena Police Blotter: Vandalism at Fair Oaks Cash Wash and Other Crimes

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Altadena Station released the following report on Thursday, May 15:

Sunday, May 4

• Between 10:30 a.m. and 3:03 p.m. – A vehicle vandalism occurred in the 3000 block of North Olive Avenue. 
• 12:46 PM – A residential burglary occurred in the 500 block of Royce Street. Suspect entered the location via the kitchen window. Loss: none.  ***Suspect is related to victim***
• Between 3 and 9 p.m. – A residential burglary occurred in the 100 block of Marathon Road. Suspect(s) entered the location via the rear sliding door.  Loss: car key, currency.

Monday, May 5

• 8:30 a.m. – A grand theft from a residence occurred in the 2500 block of La Fiesta Avenue. Loss: jewelry.  ***Suspect is related to victim***
• Between 1:45 and 4 p.m. – A residential burglary occurred in the 600 block of Barry Place. Suspect(s) entered the residence by removing the window screen. Suspects described as two male, Hispanics, 14 to 15 years old, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and dark clothing. Suspects were seen running southbound on Catherine Street. Loss: Chinese jewelry.
• Between 6 p.m. and 7 a.m. (Tuesday) – A vehicle vandalism occurred in the 1200 block of Beverly Way. 
• Between 8:30 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. (Tuesday) – A vehicle vandalism occurred in the 800 block of Ventura Street. 

Thursday, May 8

• 12:45 a.m. – Jesus Casares, 28 years of Pasadena was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance.
• 3:45 a.m. – Erik Gomez, 26 years of Rialto, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
• 7:28 p.m. – Marty Booker, 61 years of Altadena was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Friday, May 9

• 3:20 PM – A vehicle vandalism occurred in the 600 block of East Deodara Drive. Suspect described as a male, Black, 16 to 17 years old.
• Between 3:31 and 5:29 p.m. – A residential burglary occurred in the 2600 block of Raymond Avenue.  Suspect(s) entered the residence via the unlocked front door or window. Loss:  Macbook Pro, iPad, Beats by DRE headphones, Nintendo Wii.
• 8:56 p.m. – Juan Medal, 39 years of West Covina was arrested for public intoxication. 

Saturday, May 10

• Between 12:30 and 1:15 p.m. – A grand theft occurred at the Altadena Country Club. Loss:  black iPhone, tan Coach wallet, credit cards, gift cards.
• Between 6:45 p.m. and 7 a.m. (Sunday) – A business vandalism occurred at Fair Oaks Car Wash, 2164 Fair Oaks Avenue.
• Between 10:00 p.m. and 9:40 a.m. (Sunday) – A vehicle vandalism occurred in the 400 block of Pentagon Street.
