Altadena Sheriff's Station Starts Website, Twitter, Facebook to Follow
Altadena's local Sheriff's Department station is rolling out with a website and its top official plans to beef up its social media presence next.
The Altadena Sheriff's Station has started a new website, which can be viewed here.
The site has some information about the station, community information and event announcements and some other stories about Sheriff's Department deputy activities.
It was announced Wednesday evening on Twitter from the suddenly social-media savvy Capt. John Benedict, the top ranking officer on the station. You can follow Benedict on Twitter here.

Benedict also said at this week's Altadena Town Council meeting that the station will be introducing its own Facebook page and Twitter feed at some point.
