Detectives have said little else about how Nieto died. The coroner's office, which ruled the death a homicide, has a security hold on the case and have not revealed the cause of death.
Supervisor Michael Antonovich recommended re-offering the reward, which had expired on Monday. It will now be available for at least another 90 days.
