Crime Blotter: A Look At Calls For Service in Altadena

Call from Nov. 11 to Nov. 30

The following information was provided by the Altadena Sheriff's Station.

Monday, November 11
10:03 a.m. - A petty theft occurred at Altadena Wireless, 2108 Fair Oaks Ave. Suspects were described as two male Hispanic juveniles. Loss: black iPhone 4S.

12:09 p.m. – A vehicle was reported stolen from the 600 block of East Athens Street.   ***Vehicle was recovered by Pasadena PD***

1:50 p.m – A petty theft from an unlocked vehicle occurred at Ralph’s, 2270 Lake Ave.  Loss: black leather laptop case, gray 17-inch HP laptop.

Between 10:39 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. (Tuesday) – A vehicle vandalism occurred in the 300 block of West Ventura Street.

Tuesday, November 12
Between 7:30 a.m. and 9:20 p.m. (Wednesday) – An attempt vehicle theft occurred in the 2100 block of Summit Avenue.  Suspect(s) attempted to steal the vehicle by punching the door lock and ignition.  Loss: currency inside the vehicle.

Between 10:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. – A petty theft from an unlocked vehicle occurred at the 24-Hour Fitness parking structure, 2180 Lincoln Avenue.  Loss: black leather mens wallet, currency and credit cards.

Between 9:45 p.m. and 7:15 a.m. (Wednesday) – A vehicle vandalism occurred in the 500 block of Alameda Street.
 
Thursday, November 14
4:45 p.m. – Gary Grissom, 59, of Altadena was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

5:22 p.m. – A vehicle was reported stolen from the area of Washington Blvd. and Roosevelt Avenue.  ***Vehicle Outstanding***

Friday, November 15
12:30 a.m. – Garth Nelson, 47, of Winnetka and Uriel Graciano, 25, of Pasadena, were arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Saturday, November 16
Between 9:00 a.m. and 3:44 a.m. (Sunday) – A residential burglary occurred in the 600 block of West Figueroa Drive.  Loss: game console, video games and watches.

8:06 p.m. – Kevrod Olden, 30, of Altadena, was arrested for urinating in public.

Sunday, November 17
12:02 a.m. – Bryan Guiribitey, 38, of Altadena, was arrested for possession of stolen property, possession of burglary tools, and driving on a suspended license.

Tuesday, November 19
Between 12:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. (Wednesday) – A petty theft from an unlocked vehicle occurred in the 900 block of East Poppyfields Drive.  Loss: iPad.

12:30 p.m. – A vehicle was reported stolen from the 1900 block of North Lake Avenue.  ***Vehicle was recovered by CHP Baldwin Park***

Wednesday, November 20
3:30 p.m. – Rodolfo Montoya, 21, of Altadena, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Between 3:40 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. – A commercial burglary occurred at Walmart, 2408 Lincoln Avenue. Suspects described as two female Blacks, 30-40 years old, driving a silver, two-door Mercedes.  Loss: groceries.

Thursday, November 21
Between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. – A residential burglary occurred in the 2800 block of Fair Oaks Avenue.  Loss: electronic equipment.

Friday, November 22
Between 12:00 a.m. and 12:00 a.m. (Wednesday) – A vehicle vandalism occurred in the 3100 block of La Corona Avenue.

Between 9:30 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. (Saturday) – A residential burglary occurred in the 1800 block of Grand Oaks Ave. Loss: firearm.

Between 10:30 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. (Saturday) – A petty theft from an unlocked vehicle occurred in the 1800 block of Braeburn Street. Loss: cellphone charger and misc. coins.

11:43 p.m. – Larry Ingram, 51, of Pasadena, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and receiving stolen property.

Saturday, November 23
Between 3:15 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. – A residential burglary occurred in the 2600 block of North Lake Avenue.  Loss: jewelry and currency.

Monday, November 25
Between 5:00 p.m. and 12:00 p.m. (Wednesday) – A grand theft occurred in the 2500 block of Windsor Avenue.  Loss: A/C unit.

Wednesday, November 27
2:55 p.m. – Humberto Reynosa, 18, of Los Angeles, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving on a suspended license.

8:00 p.m. – A petty theft occurred at All Star Liquor, 2421 Lincoln Avenue.  Loss: beer and snacks.

11:20 p.m. – Kennon Hamilton, 48, of Pasadena, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Thursday, November 28
Between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. (Friday) – A petty theft from an unlocked vehicle occurred in the 500 block of Wapello Street. Loss: giro ball.

1:02 p.m. – Byron Carter, 41, of Lancaster was arrested for shoplifting at Rite Aid, 735 East Altadena Drive.

3:21 p.m. – Joshua Muema, 18, of Altadena, was arrested for receiving stolen property and possession of burglary tools.

6:34 p.m. – Damien Carter, 32, of Colton was arrested for possession of concentrated cannabis and driving on a suspended license.

7:40 p.m. – Rodolfo Salazar, 46, of Los Angeles was arrested for public intoxication.

8:09 p.m. – A residential robbery occurred in the 2400 block of Highland Avenue. Suspect described as a male Hispanic, 20 years old, 6 feet, 3 inches tall, slim build, wearing a black baseball cap, black jacket and dark jeans. Suspect was hiding inside the closet when he was confronted by the victim. The suspect demanded money and began ransacking the residence. Suspect fled the residence in an unknown direction.  Loss: blue LG flip phone and cordless phone.

Friday, November 29
9:41 p.m. – Erika Robinson, 46, of Altadena, was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Saturday, November 30
11:53 p.m. – Kenneth Kennedy, 61, of Altadena. was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance.
