A cyclist was hit by a SUV near the intersection of Allen and Oakwood on Wednesday evening, but nobody was hurt enough to require medical attention, according to Sgt. Eric Broneer of the California Highway Patrol.
The accident was reported at 7:22 p.m. Wednesday evening, according to the CHP log.
Broneer did not have exact details of the accident, but said that when it was phoned in, it was reported that the driver was considering leaving the scene of the accident.
The driver ended up waiting at the scene for the officers to arrive. The cyclist declined medical attention at that time, and neither party said there was significant property damage resulting from the accident, Broneer said.
