Cyclist Hospitalized Following Crash Near Woodbury and Fair Oaks Intersection
A cyclist was injured in a collision involving the cyclist and a car Tuesday morning, shortly after 6:30 a.m.
A cyclist was hospitalized early Tuesday morning after a collision with a car near the intersection of Fair Oaks Avenue and Woodbury Road, according to Inspector Quvondo Johnson.
The accident was reported at 6:37 a.m. and by 6:54 a.m. paramedics from the Fire Department's nearby Station 12 had responded to the scene and prepared the cyclist for transport to Huntington Hospital, according to Johnson.
Johnson did not have any further information on how the accident happened or the extent of the cyclist's injuries.
