Woman Threatening to Jump Prompts 210 Freeway Closure

Traffic is being diverted at Lake Avenue.

A distraught 23-year-old woman threatened to jump from an overpass on the 210 freeway, prompting police to close eastbound lanes on the 210 freeway early Friday morning, according to police.
The woman threatened to jump at around 4 a.m. Police were able to coax the woman away from the overpass after about an hour. She was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

The California Highway Patrol reports that all lanes of the eastbound Foothill (210) Freeway at Lake Avenue in Pasadena have been reopened
after the closure.

The California Highway Patrol reports that all lanes of the eastbound Foothill (210) Freeway are closed at Lake Avenue in Pasadena due to police activity. Traffic is being diverted at Lake Avenue and motorists can continue on eastbound on Corson Street, then reenter the freeway east of Lake, according to the CHP.
