A feast for the eyes is happening April 27 as the first ever Altadena Car Show and Art Walk will take place at Farnsworth Park.
Different kinds of classic and custom rods, trucks and motorcycles will be displayed on Mount Curve Avenue and a Best of the Best award will be presented around 3 p.m. at the free event that begins at 9 a.m.
Local artists and craftsmen will also display their works in the park.
Vendors, food and a stage featuring live music from the band The Answer to Classic Rock are also in store and kids can play in the moonbounce, color and play games among other activities.
The Sheriff’s mounted posse and mountain rescue team will also share their activities.
The Altadena Sheriff’s Station and Los Angeles Parks and Recreation Department are presenting the event, which will benefit the Sheriff’s Explorer Post #7 and the Sheriff’s Youth Activities League, both located in Altadena.
Those interested in showing a vehicle or displaying a booth can contact Deputy Gregory Gabriel at the Altadena Sheriff’s Station. He can be reached at 626 296-2107 or email@example.com.
