Hiker Airlifted From Eaton Canyon

A man in his 30s was stranded at the first waterfall, according to the Altadena Sheriff's Station.

Updated 2:35 p.m.: A man who was stranded at Eaton Canyon was airlifted by a Los Angeles County Fire Department helicopter Wednesday afternoon, Altadena Mountain Rescue Training Officer Rich Deleon told Patch.

Altadena Search and Rescue was deployed at about 1:25 p.m. and the uninjured man was airlifted at approximately 2:18 p.m.

Altadena Search and Rescue has been deployed to help rescue a man in his 30s who is stranded at Eaton Canyon, according to the Altadena Sheriff's Station.

An Altadena Sheriff's Station officer told Patch that a call came in about the hiker at 12:57 p.m. Wednesday.
