Updated: Paramedics Respond to Accidental Self-Inflicted Gunshot Wound

The injury took place in the 1400 block of Morada Place Tuesday afternoon.

Altadena paramedics responded to a report of an accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound Tuesday afternoon.

The injury took place in the 1400 block of Morada Place when a man, age unknown, was cleaning his gun and it accidentally discharged and shot him in the fingers.

Altadena Deputy Marc Mrackich told Patch the man's injury is non-life threatening. 

The man was transported to Huntington Memorial Hospital Tuesday afternoon.
