Suspect Arrested for Stolen Guns, Drugs

Altadena detectives are investigating an arrest made by Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department officials in Pasadena Thursday night following discovery of stolen guns and other items.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies arrested a man in Pasadena Thursday night following investigation that led them to a nearby apartment, according to an Altadena Sheriff’s Station release.

21-year-old Christopher Calloway was detained at 100 block of W. Washington Blvd. At a nearby apartment, law enforcement served a search warrant and discovered stolen items including lap top computers, a flat screen television and several hand guns. Police also recovered a large amount of marijuana and collectable United States currency.

Calloway was arrested for possession of stolen property and possession of marijuana for sale. He is being held in lieu of $20,000 bail and scheduled for arraignment in Pasadena Superior Court on Dec. 18.
