The Pasadena Police Department responded to a 911 call of a man who said he planned to kill himself in the parking lot of the Eaton Canyon Nature Center Tuesday night.

A man shot and killed himself in the parking lot of the Eaton Canyon Nature Center on Tuesday evening, according to Lt. Rick Aversano of the Pasadena Police Department.

The man had called 911 around 7 p.m, just prior to pulling the trigger, and told the dispatchers they could find his body at the Nature Center parking lot, Aversano said.

The department sent out a helicopter, as well as officers and medical responders, but by the time they arrived on the scene the man was dead, according to Aversano.

This is such a tragic and common situation of today! My empathy goes out to the friends and family. I am so grateful for my hope in the Holy Writing. Revelation 21:3,4 'and he will wipe every tear from their eyes and death will be no more neither will mourning nor oucry nor pain be any more. The former things will have passed away' ISNT THAT AWESOME?!!
