Updated: Vehicle Versus Bike Collision Thursday Under Investigation

California Highway Patrol and Altadena Sheriff's deputies are still investigating the accident that happened Thursday morning.

A vehicle and bike collision occurred Thursday around 11 a.m. at Lincoln Avenue and Crosby Street, CHP Bike Incidents noted on twitter.

Altadena Sheriff’s Station Captain John Benedict also tweeted a photo from the scene and advised people to, “avoid area" around 11:45 a.m.

An investigating California Highway Patrol officer was still out in the field shortly before 2 p.m. Thursday so no additional details were available, Altadena CHP Officer Kevin Denmon told Patch.

By 2 p.m. all lanes were clear, Benedict tweeted:

"Update #Altadena accident on Lincoln &Crosby... All lanes open and clear! Stay safe out there!"
