Altadena Businesses Pass License Check ... So Far
A county official responding to a complaint about business licenses has not found anyone out of compliance. Yet.
An official from the county's Treasurer and Tax Collector Department has been visiting Altadena businesses after receiving an anonymous complaint about noncompliance with business license requirements.
So far, though, the official--Michael Greaves, who lives in Altadena himself--has not found a single business out of compliance.
The county's permit and license compliance system is based on responding to resident complaints, as regular readers of this site surely know by now.

Greaves said he will continue the process of checking in at businesses in the Lake and Altadena area, but expects that most, if not all, will be in compliance.
